Who is in your postpartum support network?
Your support network will likely be a mixture of friends, family and health professionals. It can be helpful to create a list of individuals whom you can call on for different things because we all know when you’re sleep deprived and your brain is foggy it can be challenging to recall where to get help.
Birth Story - Rach & Reagan’s Birth House Experience
Being pregnant during the early stages of COVID-19 meant rules around birth were changing constantly. My original plan was to go through the MGP program at Barwon health but unfortunately at around the 28/30 week mark the hospital ruled out water births which had been my number 1 birth plan for as long as I can remember.

The couple welcomed their baby into the world with the support of their caseload midwife in a public hospital.

Birth Story - Nicole & Doug’s Homebirth
Nicole & Doug initially planned to have a hospital birth, however due to COVID restrictions they decided that the most aligned decision for them would be to change their plans and opt to seek out a team of professionals who could support them to achieve a safe and positive birth experience at home.
