Leo’s Birth Story
Alice and Shane opted to join my virtual group Hypnobirthing Classes in January 2021 in anticipation for welcoming their divine little love into their family. Alice has so thoughtfully and lovingly woven her words to provide an insightful recollection of her empowered birth experience. An experience in which Shane felt confident, knowledgeable and empowered to serve as Alice’s unwavering rock and biggest advocate. I feel so honoured to have to opportunity to share this beautiful story with you.
Nicole brings Daisy earth-side
Nicole and Ryan then opted to join my Hypnobirthing Classes in February which were selectively for midwives and birthworkers who were moving into the realms of bringing their own babies earth-side. Nicole spoke with such innate trust and knowing as she described the empowered birth experience that she was planning for and the support network that she was calling in.

Birth Story - James arrives earthside
I had the pleasure of working with Bec as a fellow midwife for a few years and am thrilled to have the opportunity to share her beautiful birth experience with you. Bec hired a private midwife, @mamatotomidwives, early on in her pregnancy with much excitement and a beautiful vision for an empowered birth experience. James arrival earth side was a powerful and positive experience for Bec, and her story so wonderfully shares how she was able to support her body to do what it was designed to do throughout labour.
Birth Story - Jemma's Caesarean Birth
Birth is, at times, unpredictable, however having the tools to approach whatever turn your birth takes can enable a positive experience and allow you to pivot and make personal decisions that you feel are best for your own unique set of circumstances, needs and history. In this weeks birth story Jemma powerfully and openly shares the experience of her caesarean section and how she was able to utilise her tools, stay calm and advocate for her preferences throughout the birth of her son Hugh - “It wasn’t always my plan, it was the best birth for my son and I.”
The birth story of Eleanor Evelyn
In early hours of the morning, at 40 weeks and 6days, Mikaela and her partner Jack rode the waves of labour in the comfort of their home. Mikaela, being a midwife herself, was familiar with the ebbs and flows of birth however felt pushed to her limits as she worked with and trusted her body and her baby. The couple welcomed their baby into the world with the support of their caseload midwife in a public hospital.
Birth Story - The Arrival of Sophie
At 42 weeks in the warmth of their home Mandy and Matt welcomed Sophie earthside in the golden hours of the afternoon light. I feel very humbled to have the opportunity to share this beautiful birth story in this space & once you’ve read this story I invite you to visit Amanda’s website to read her full series where she also shares and explores her first, second & third trimesters of pregnancy and her nurtured postpartum.
